Emery and The Vision
A testament to the power of music and its ability to lift our spirit, Emery and The Vision was formed when childhood friends Sam Emery (Vocals and Guitar) and Freddy Janney (Drums) reconnected after each of them saw their long-term relationships end unexpectedly within days of each other. Feeling lost, the two musicians turned to music (as many of us do) and began playing together with the hope of recapturing the creative spark they’d found while jamming in each other’s garages during their childhood.

They brought childhood friend and fellow LA transplant Chris Gens (Bass) into the fold and their informal basement jam sessions quickly materialized into a collection of songs that combined a unique blend of ethereal California dream rock with the distorted guitars of Britpop.

Currently in the process of recording their first EP, Emery and The Vision is a project built on a foundation of rock n’ roll with a clear purpose and dedication to creating music that unites us and enhances the human experience, just as it did with the members of the band.
Kat Hamilton - (Set time: 10:00 PM)
