The Pretty Flowers
The Pretty Flowers
The Pretty Flowers is a Los Angeles indie rock band. Their style is influenced by college rock, punk and post-hardcore. The Pretty Flowers formed on a road trip to San Francisco while on hiatus from their respective bands The Henry Clay People and the Lost Libraries. Noah Green's demos were played, record stores were hit and after a year of Matt Cowan convincing Noah that it wouldn't become a working band, but a way for friends to hang out… the Pretty Flowers started practicing with Rademacher and the Henry Clay People's drummer Eli Reyes. Singer and Guitarist Noah Green at the center of the song writing, bassist Matt Cowan and drummer Eli Reyes played their first show as the Pretty Flowers August 20, 2013. Andy Siara of the Henry Clay People has become a consistent part of their live show rounding out guitar duties and backing vocals. The Pretty Flowers are independently minded with an unwavering dedication to the indie tradition, and stay true to the "heart-on-your-sleeve" spirit of American indie rock.
